The ravioli was unforgettable, some of the best we've ever eaten, and the breakfast brought fresh Sicilian flavors, with warm bread and croissants each morning. Hotel Il Barocco felt peaceful despite being right in the beauty of Ragusa Ibla, and it made a great base for exploring town. Our room was quiet, comfortable and beautifully kept, as was the rest of the immaculate hotel. The staff welcomed us warmly from the start, made check-in easy, and kept offering helpful recommendations and anything we needed. We had a memorable stay from beginning to end and felt very well looked after. Already hoping to return, and would recommend it to anyone visiting Ragusa.

The helpful, kind service and good breakfast add to the value here. Rooms are lovely, and the location is great. A fabulous hotel, highly recommended.

The food was superb and the service excellent in a very pretty place. One small drawback was the courtyard getting no sun in the late afternoon or evening, though that's outside their control and I wouldn't hold it against them.

We only stayed a night, but the hotel turned out to be a really nice surprise. The room was clean and the staff kind. We had half-board dinner too, with a choice of typical Sicilian dishes, and breakfast had plenty of fruit, cakes, biscuits, ham and cheese.
