The place is unclear and ambiguous, and seems to try to catch you at the last minute with rates two or three times the usual price. I don’t recommend it. It’s hard to find better nearby because they all seem to think alike and are trying anything to survive. The historical legacy seems to make them even more miserable. Look more carefully on Booking.com.

This is the familiar kind of apartment listing you see on Booking, asking €150 a day for a place I think is worth no more than €40. It’s the same trick they use in Naples. Rates in Ragusa average €50 per day for places with new, IKEA-style furnishings, while this guy wants €150 for an apartment with antique furniture.
