Villa Veda

The peaceful setting and big pool were highlights for our family. We stayed five nights at Villa Veda in Randazzo with our three children, all under 10, for my 40th birthday. We had both apartments to ourselves, so there was plenty of space, and the place was clean and well maintained. The pool is huge and was cleaned every morning. We also used the BBQ and washing machine, which made things easy, and the views added to the quiet atmosphere. A couple of small snags came up. Using the hairdryer seemed to cause power cuts, so we were advised not to use it. We think the device itself was probably faulty. The Wi-Fi was patchy for the first couple of days, though it was sorted fairly quickly, and honestly the break from being online was nice. Getting there was the harder part. The road is extremely narrow, and coming from the UK I found it challenging, especially arriving in the dark. A sign for the left turn and trimming the shrubs along the lane would help. We had a smaller car, a Fiat, and anything larger might have struggled. Those issues didn't spoil a fantastic holiday. Villa Veda is a beautiful home in a peaceful, authentic part of Sicily, and Randazzo is a lovely quiet town. Having a Lidl nearby was handy for BBQ shopping. Thanks for sharing your home with us, we'd love to return.
