Silvia helped us discover what makes the surrounding area special, with charming villages to visit and lovely walks through nature. My husband and I had a wonderful holiday and will definitely come back. The house and everything else matched what we saw on the website, and the owner made us feel like old friends. It’s a little corner of paradise, full of plants, flowers, and animals. We loved meeting Silvia’s affectionate dogs, Dolly, Pongo, and Baby. Wild birds are all around too; we saw a hawk circling, heard the tawny sheep bleating, and listened to the donkey Luna bray.

Silvia is a warm, friendly host who gave us great tips for hiking and places to eat. Her three dogs are welcoming but watchful, so you should be comfortable around dogs if you stay here, or bring one of your own as we did. The area has plenty of hiking, as well as trips to places like Lake Iseo and Bergamo. We spent ten wonderful days here and highly recommend it. We stayed in the downstairs stone house, one of two apartments. It was charmingly furnished and well equipped, ideal for four, though there were three of us. The location is fantastic, with breathtaking views across the lake and mountains, and a large garden to wander around.

Silvia really makes an effort to help you explore the area and enjoy your stay. Her three dogs are adorable, though a bit boisterous at times since they’re young. Just let her know if it’s an issue, and she’ll keep them with her overnight so you can sleep peacefully. We stayed in the chalet, which was very comfortable. It’s a beautiful cottage in a great location with a magnificent view. We came away with wonderful holiday memories. Thank you, Silvia!
