The view that greets you at the main entrance is mesmerizing. It’s a lovely house, decorated with real appeal, and the owner was extremely helpful and cooperative. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed.

The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are spacious. There are four bedrooms, but only one toilet and bath inside the villa; the other is accessed from outside, which makes things difficult to manage.

Maurizio was incredibly kind and flexible about what we needed, and we’re so grateful for his help making the weekend special. We came to Villa Marilena to celebrate our mother’s 80th birthday and, after a long time apart, finally had the whole family together under one roof. The house was just as we’d hoped, welcoming and roomy, with a beautiful view of Lake Endine.

The panoramic view is beautiful, and the gazebo with its outdoor grill would be lovely for a small barbecue with friends. I was there as a guest at a party. The villa was well equipped, with plenty of beds and two bathrooms.

The bedrooms have air conditioning, and there are lake views, a garden, and parking for two or three cars, though getting in is somewhat difficult. The kitchen is small, and one of the two bathrooms is outside the house. Some maintenance is needed: the shower leaks and leaves the bathroom floor wet.
