Villa Poc (RAP150)

The villa is spacious and furnished with care, and the landlady is very friendly. It's wonderfully quiet on the hillside, with a fenced private garden where dogs can roam and run freely. The sea view is sensational, and the location is excellent. Just be aware that the driveway to the entrance is very steep and has a narrow bend, so it won't suit very large, wide vehicles. We'd gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend this holiday home.

The house has a comfortable feel and fantastic views across the sea, landscape, and marina. It sleeps up to eight, allows dogs, and has parking for three or four cars. The rooms mix individual pieces from the 1950s to 1970s with modern furniture; some are air-conditioned. There's a well-equipped kitchen, several places to sit outside, and the property is fenced. Getting to Rapallo on foot with a stroller means using a busy road, though it's easy to reach by car. A little renovation is needed, and then it would be a five-star property. Best suited to people who appreciate houses from the 1970s.
