Yellow Submarine Freeparking

The apartment was decent and parking was fine, but the highway right beside it was noisy. It was cold inside. When I called for a heater, I was told the central heating was off and there was nothing available. Around 7 p.m. I got a message saying the heating was on and that their son lived downstairs, though he didn't check us in or out. The radiators were all set to zero. After I opened them it got a little warmer, but we still slept under every blanket we could find. I booked and paid in advance on Booking.com, followed the self-check-in instructions exactly, and sent the documents. We put everything away early the next morning, shut the radiators, and left the keys in the combination locker. As I said, there was no checkout. Two days later, they messaged that I'd stolen a gadget from the TV and hadn't sent the documents. The owner is required by law to check and submit those within 24 hours of check-in. They also sent a request through Booking.com for a €38 refund for the gadget I supposedly took. I've contacted them to file a complaint. Stay away, since it seems they're trying to get refunds from the platforms that promote the property.

The terrace, books, and games for the kids were fantastic, and the apartment was thoughtfully organized for everyone. Free parking was a real bonus, with plenty of space. Some of the old furnishings are lovely. The place somehow feels young and old at once, like looking down at the sun and housewives cooking and doing housework in another era, then getting hit with good energy, '60s rock, and the Beatles. Rapallo has plenty to offer, and the focaccia and all those shops are delicious. We were very satisfied, whether coming for a quick break or staying a few extra days.

We liked the Beatles-themed items, and the apartment was clean. Check-in and checkout were self-service, though it was hard to get in touch with the owner through Booking. There wasn't much toilet paper.

It's a well-equipped apartment, with what you need to make a quick dinner. The seafront is a bit far away, but for the price, it's worth it.
