The garden is lovely, the pool is good, and the scenery is nice. The rooms look great, each with its own bathroom. But the owners are rarely on site, speak only Italian, and are hard to communicate with. The Wi-Fi is poor. The AC is tucked behind the curtains, apparently due to a construction issue, so it keeps switching on and off. It was a nightmare for sleeping. The place is also very expensive for what you get. I’d look elsewhere for better value.
The room had a strong, unpleasant chemical smell, maybe paint, solvent or cleaning products. When we raised it with Stefania, she was rude and dismissive, and insisted there was no odor without coming to check the property herself. Although we arrived during the stated check-in hours, nobody was there. Instead, we got a video showing how to find our room, with the key already in the door. Communication was through an unofficial WhatsApp number rather than Booking.com. We eventually left and booked a hotel somewhere else.
As soon as we walked into the room, there was a horrible chemical smell, like paint. Stefania was extremely impolite, stopped answering her phone, and later claimed there was no smell even though she hadn't been in the room. We left the hotel and tried to get our money back. I would never book this hotel again.
Everyone was very nice and helpful during our full week here. The pool area is beautiful, and you could easily spend a whole day there. The property is a little close to the road, and the Wi-Fi problem was never fixed.
The rooms are spacious and the views are beautiful. There’s convenient free parking, and in summer you can use the swimming pool. A lovely place to stay.
