The sauna helped make our ski days wonderful, both at nearby Kronplatz, about 10 minutes away, and on the Sellaronda, roughly an hour beyond Corvara. Everything was very, very clean, and we had all we needed for a great stay. The hospitality felt wonderfully authentic. Many thanks to the lovely hostess. I'd give it more stars if I could.

Rasun di Sopra has a lovely, authentic feel. You hear animals lowing in the neighboring stables, and people often head out on tractors in the morning. It really takes you away from city routines and into local farm life. Just keep in mind that most places to eat are in Rasun di Sotto, so dinner means a short drive or a pleasant walk. The hotel is family-run in the fullest sense, with several members of the owners' large family helping out. Everyone was very hospitable, and breakfast had plenty of variety. Public transport is free and makes it easy to get around, while the location is a useful base in the Pusteria Valley. The rooms were clean and quiet, and decent for the low prices, though they aren't the newest. Cyclists have a handy shelter with outlets for e-bikes. Beautiful paths connect to the Pustertal cycle path within minutes, and continue toward Antholz Lake, which may be a better choice than tourist-packed Braies Lake, or to Stalle Pass. The latter route has some hills. We stayed here a few days ago and had a good experience.

We found the guesthouse quiet and comfortable, with a charming room and shared balcony that made a nice place to unwind. It's an ideal base if you have a car and want to explore nearby towns. The place has a welcoming mountain feel and an authentic local atmosphere. Breakfast was very good, with both sweet and savory choices. I'd happily recommend the stay.

We slept wonderfully in the attic room, and they were perfectly happy to let me bring my small dog. The Gasthof is welcoming, clean, and friendly. Its location in Rasun di Sopra is convenient for supermarkets and restaurants or pizzerias. Breakfast felt fair for the price, with cold cuts, eggs, little croissants, fresh bread, rusks, and jams. I just got back and would highly recommend it.
