The room was compact and had limited storage, but the bathroom was good and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The location has captivating views on the hill below Ravello. The walk up to town is steep, but there's a bus every hour for only 1.50 Euro per person. We took it uphill and walked back down at the end of the day.

This may have been the worst travel experience I've had. The road was closed, leaving us to drag our suitcases down a half-mile staircase, and we sustained several injuries. The Wi-Fi signal was too poor for it to work in our room, and on the third day there was no hot water for showers.

Ravello is beautiful, and we still enjoyed our time there, but this stay was quite disappointing. The room was spacious and pleasantly cool, though it had a very strong, unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Water wouldn't drain properly, and whenever we ran it the smell became unbearable. We told the host right away and sent a video, but the problem wasn't fixed during our stay. We left a day early. The host replied, mostly saying things like “oh, we didn't know” or “we thought it was fixed”. But the issue was obvious and repeatable just by running the water. I wanted it properly addressed for future guests, and despite giving enough information to find a solution, nothing was done. I worry the next visitors will face the same bad smell. Breakfast was disappointing and not up to Italian standards. Better to eat in town, which is fine.

We left after one night and had to escalate through Booking.com to get a refund. Air conditioning didn't work in either room we were given, and the power kept cutting out overnight, so we couldn't sleep. There was no staff on site, and we waited in the heat for check-in instructions. The property is far from the center, with a 15-minute steep walk up countless stairs in full sun. Parking was difficult too. Absolutely not recommended.

It was my first trip to Italy, and this place made a lasting impression as my first stop. The room was compact, but from the balcony the ocean looked like a movie scene. Breakfast was a healthy meal on a beautiful terrace. The only difficulty was unlocking the entrance door, which took some getting used to. Thanks to the German lady who opened it for me when I was stuck outside in the middle of the night. I'd like to stay here again on a future visit to Ravello.
