You can get to central Ravello quickly, either by taking the steps for a good cardio workout or walking up the street on the hill. The view from the room was spectacular, and the accommodation was beautiful, with a terrace for breakfast and sunbathing. It felt like a dream, though the pool being closed in October kept it from being perfect.

We stayed four nights and really enjoyed it. The breakfasts were great every morning, and the views were the best. We also walked down to Maiori and Minori, then to Amalfi and back up. That return is a big climb on stairs.

We had a great time, and the restaurant was a real highlight, Michelin rated, with excellent food and service. We also did a wine tasting, and Luigi was a wonderful host. They can shuttle you to and from the restaurant if you want. Ravello is a short walk up either the stairs or the hill, which is easier. The town is quaint and touristy. We preferred driving out to less touristy places, though we enjoyed it either way. The views are to die for, and the location suited us since we had a car. We'll be back.

The villa has a great spot, within walking distance of the old town and lido, with unmatched views of the sea, Ravello, and Minori. Our room and bathroom were spacious, and there was a pleasant outdoor terrace with a sun shade. There’s parking on site too. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was generous, but the ingredients could be fresher and higher quality for the room rates. Room preparation and breakfast service also need more consistency.
