That balcony was easily the best part of our room, and the hotel views are gorgeous. The concierge was fantastic, making dinner reservations and suggesting great places to visit. There’s beautiful covered parking right in front, although driving there is a challenge on the incredibly narrow roads in those small towns. The staff were amazing and the bathroom stayed clean, with plenty of hot water, but the shower backed up every time we used it. The rooms feel dated, especially the old couch and very old TV. We barely spent time inside beyond sleeping, though I would have liked a TV that could stream or connect to my phone. Still, it’s a great hotel with amazing staff.

Giuseppe was especially helpful, sharing tips about local attractions and taking care of bookings. The staff were friendly overall, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. The garden is colorful and lovely to stroll through, with flowers brightening up the outside of this beautiful hotel. Our room was cozy and had a local style, and the amenities covered what we needed, including temperature control, an ironing room, paid laundry service and a lovely pool.

We got an upgrade to a fresh, modern standard room with a balcony overlooking the pool and town square, and it matched my idea of Italy. The hotel itself is romantic and beautiful, and the staff were kind and helpful. The pool felt quite cold, though it was refreshing, and that may be normal for the area. Evenings in the square could be noisy with children playing and shouting. There were lots of families with young kids at the hotel during our stay too, which made it hard to relax by the pool. Breakfast was wonderful, with fresh fruit and everything we needed. Ask the staff for a morning cappuccino.

The pool was a godsend in the heat, and it gave us lovely family time before and after my niece’s wedding in Ravello. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and well kept, and the staff are so helpful. I only had to ask once about gluten-free breakfast options, and they provided them each day. There’s a pool bar, but give the staff time to get through their morning jobs before asking for service. The village square is close if you fancy a walk and a meal, and buses and taxis are nearby for going farther afield.
