Hotel Graal

All our wedding guests were blown away by Hotel Graal, and the team did so much to make everyone feel cared for. Barbara, Paolo, Daniella, Antonio and the whole crew were incredibly accommodating throughout the weekend celebrating the wedding we’d dreamed of. They even hosted a pool party the day after, with a delicious pasta bar set up just as we asked, if not better. The pool and sea views from every bedroom, the breakfast, amenities and restaurant all deserve a 20/10. I can’t thank the team enough.

The view greeting you in the morning makes it hard to leave. We were only about a five-minute walk from the piazza, close to garden hotel and Salvatore, and you can look down toward maiori and minors from the doors. The rooms have recently been upgraded and were even nicer than we expected, with a welcome mattress topper. Every team, from reception and the restaurant to the pool and breakfast service, was helpful and warm. We had our one-year-old with us, and the elevator made it easy to get around without the stairs. We were looking for air conditioning and a pool, and hotel graal had both. Saved for a future visit.

We were there over Easter 2025 and would come back. The town is an easy walk away, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was the highlight, with excellent coffee and lots of sweet and savory choices, while the views were breathtaking and everyone was very nice, especially the breakfast staff. The design is a little dated, but the hotel was clean and well maintained.

I wouldn’t have booked this if I’d known what it was like. It feels unsettling and hard to get around, and it’s so isolated there’s nothing to do. The place is extremely outdated, almost like a former hospital. There was a smell that might have been mold, and I’ve seen several reviews saying mold in the rooms made people sick. The pool had a green ring around it, and the mirror had stains that made it look like it came from the hospital the place used to be. The walls and furniture were scuffed and stained too. I gave three stars for the nice staff, but zero for the stay, and I’m sure half the reviews are fake.
