Palazzo Avino

The staff helped us book food reservations in town and rent a scooter, and you can walk into Ravello from the hotel. It’s a five-star property, with great decor and rooms. The on-property Michelin star restaurant was awesome, with a top-notch dining experience and lots of little extras. They had guitar or piano every night.

The food was a highlight, from the rich breakfast to the fine dining in the evening. We also loved the beach club, with its clear water, relaxing beds, and excellent service. It was a lovely way to balance luxury and relaxation. Palazzo Avino is elegant but still welcoming, and the service was outstanding. Everyone made us feel special. The location is stunning, with some of the best Amalfi Coast views you could imagine. An unforgettable stay in Ravello, highly recommended!

We came to Palazzo Avino in Ravello just for a drink and pastries, and it made for a beautiful break. The hotel overlooks the coast, the walk there was pleasant, and the crowd and atmosphere felt welcoming. Elegant but relaxing, it had just the right Ravello charm. It was busy, though, and there wasn’t one person handling requests. I had to look around a few times before finding someone.

We spent two nights here at the end of our honeymoon. The room was extremely small for the price. Jacopo at the front desk was very professional and smiled a lot, and Guiseppe was also lovely. He tried to fix our AC and carried our bags. When the heating issue came up, it was eventually resolved. Jacopo immediately got me a bandaid and antibiotics after I accidentally got scratched while feeding one of the property cats. It was completely my fault, the cat was gentle and polite, and I’d dangled the meat wrong. But the older man at the front desk soured the whole stay. He hung up when I called for help, and it felt like he would only speak to men. When he asked my husband and me if the heating was fixed, I answered that it was, but he ignored me and kept asking my husband. Even my husband thought it was odd. He also kept scolding me for feeding the cats. His attitude left me feeling afraid during our time there. For a five-star property, I’m surprised someone with that attitude works there.
