Villa Amore

The scenery is gorgeous, but the cafe service was awful. We waited about 40 minutes for two simple dishes, while another table that ordered after us got all three of theirs. We asked two waiters twice each, and they kept saying the food was on its way instead of checking with the kitchen. When someone finally did check, they realized our order hadn't even been entered. Once they put it through, the food arrived in five minutes. We weren't hotel guests, so this is only about the cafe.

The room was spotless and lovely, and the staff were kind. My fiancée and I were lucky enough to get one of the best rooms, with an incredible view. It's hard to put into words just how beautiful this place is. You really have to see it for yourself.

We stopped for a light lunch at the hotel restaurant. The food and service were fine, but the panoramic view of the coast and terraced hillside was the real highlight. Getting there meant a hike, and it was worth it even in the summer heat.

We had a fantastic late lunch at Villa Amore. The sea and Amalfi coast look so picturesque from the restaurant, and we really enjoyed the vegetarian food. The eggplant Panini and pomodoro pasta were both amazing. They also brought complimentary breadsticks as an appetizer, nice and crispy. I'd definitely recommend it :)
