Villa San Cosma

Our wellness retreat at Villa San Cosma was such a joy, especially with an extended stay. Roberta took care of our reservations at local restaurants and beaches, and arranged a boat rental. The property itself is beautiful, with fig, lemon and olive trees all around, plus tomatoes, zucchinis, rosemary, basil and other fresh produce. We had yoga in the pavilion each morning, then enjoyed the staff’s delicious breakfasts and cappuccinos, along with time in the pool, jacuzzi and cold plunge grotto. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I loved their blue tiled floors and the lovely ceramics used for dining. The staff were so kind and looked after us beautifully.

The setting at Villa San Cosma is lovely and peaceful, with beautiful gardens all around. Breakfast was one of my favorite parts of the stay: everything was delicious and made with fresh ingredients from the garden. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with incredible views that looked like a postcard. It was also easy to reach directly from the street, which is unusual in Ravello, and the shuttle made it convenient to go into town. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for, going out of their way to help. The comfort, warm service and beautiful surroundings made our Ravello stay unforgettable. Highly recommend it for a visit to the Amalfi Coast.

Villa San Cosma felt like a magical place, with an incredible view, lovely staff, and all the amenities we needed. The fruit trees were everywhere, and I especially loved picking a fresh fig straight from a tree each day. Lemon and olive trees filled the grounds too, and they make their own olive oil, which was the best. Their garden was full of tasty tomatoes and all sorts of vegetables. The family who owns the place took wonderful care of us. It was a unique experience that made you feel immersed in Italian culture, and I have no regrets about staying here.

The views were a treat for our two teenage sons, especially the large yachts that often sat offshore within sight. They also loved the pool and Jacuzzi. We could hike to nearby Amalfi and Minori Beach, and even have early morning yoga overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The lemons were hanging heavily on the trees, while the figs and olives were still ripening. There were kiwi and kumquat trees, herbs, tomatoes, and fresh eggs from the chickens as well. We came to Italy as a family to stay at Villa San Cosma, and felt at home as soon as we arrived. The accommodations, customer service and surroundings were all wonderful. Everyone serving us smiled, breakfast was unbeatable, and Roberta went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, taking care of every detail. It’s hard to imagine a better setting anywhere in the world. It felt like a home away from home, and if I could pick another place to live, this would be it.
