B&B Al giardino del vicolo

Luisa and her daughters are so welcoming and friendly, treating guests like old friends. Breakfast is generous and delicious, with homemade jams, warm croissants, and different pastries each day. The place is spotless and pleasant, somewhere you can relax and enjoy yourself. It’s also easy to take a nice walk into the city center from the apartment. I absolutely recommend staying here. If you’re driving, there’s parking in the private courtyard.

The lady was very welcoming and kind, and breakfast was excellent and authentic. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the center, so not especially close. The furnishings have an antique style. There’s no TV, but every room has air conditioning, and there was a small refrigerator, kettle, little stove, and herbal teas for guests to use. The pillow and mattress were unfortunately very uncomfortable, high, and hard. The windows also don’t block out all the light.

In the August heat, this place felt like a cool, quiet little oasis with some nature, right in the historic center. I often travel alone and look for somewhere that feels like home, and B&B al Giardino del Vicolo is definitely one of those places. Mrs. Luisa is welcoming and very helpful, and the rooms are tastefully decorated with antique furniture. Breakfast is generous and excellent, served on the terrace. The location is handy too: a 15-minute walk to the historic center and 10 minutes to the central station, where buses leave for nearby trips. I’d choose this property again if I come back to Ravenna.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and we were even able to borrow bikes for the day at no charge. We stayed three nights in this charming family-run guesthouse, in a very quiet spot not far from the city center. Our family room was clean and cozy, though a little small. Breakfast was good quality, but a bit boring. Highly recommended.
