A great hotel in the center of Ravenna. At night, the rooms are above restaurants, so you'll want to close the windows because of the noise. Once they're shut, the noise is minimal. Just make sure you know how to use the air conditioner.

The staff were the part of the hotel I appreciated most. They're genuinely nice people, and they worked hard to make us feel welcome and valued. The whole place was spotless, and our room was beautifully decorated, practical, and extremely comfortable. The hotel is directly across a narrow street from the Basilica of San Vitale, the National Museum, and the Mausoleum of Galla Placida. Other landmarks are easy to reach on foot, and there are plenty of good restaurants within a few blocks. Mercado Coperto is a huge covered market where you can find almost anything to eat or drink, with top quality and service beyond expectations. Breakfast is a cold buffet with a good range of quality options, and hot drinks are made to order. On some evenings there is also a small buffet of hors d'oeuvres and drinks, which was a nice surprise.

Housekeeping was spectacular, and the bathroom was amazing. The internet was reliable, the air conditioning was great, and the location was fantastic. A very special place to stay if you're lucky enough to get a reservation.

Charming, clean, and updated. I thought this hotel was fabulous and would definitely stay again.
