B&B di charme La Bonarella

The owner really cares about her guests. It’s a stunning 15th-century palace.

Russi made a great base for trips to the coast, the mountains, San Marino, and the Po Delta. Our stay at Rita’s place was one of our most wonderful holidays. She’s a charming, attentive hostess, and her palazzo from the 15th century is hard to describe. We loved every minute in this building, which is more than 500 years old. Breakfast was a delight too, with rolls, croissants, different cheeses, homemade jams, fresh fruit, and juices. Grazie, Rita!

What made my stay especially lovely was how thoughtful Rita was about breakfast. I asked for a few changes to suit my diet, and she was kind and happy to help. Each morning she brought fresh fruit, homemade jams, bread, and croissants. The place itself is a peaceful villa from the 1400s, a real escape from the daily routine, and I slept better than I have in ages thanks to the very comfortable bed. Everything was impeccably clean. La Bonarella was a wonderful stay, and I’d love to come back. Thanks, Rita, for making it so special.

We felt like queens here. Rita was so kind and helpful, and even cleaned our room in the morning and evening. The villa dates back to the sixteenth century, with original beams, doors, wardrobes, and terracotta floors beneath its high ceilings. It was still extremely clean. Our room was spacious, the bed and sheets were excellent, and everything smelled fresh. The bathroom was modern and elegant while still fitting the rustic, chic style. Every detail felt carefully chosen. Fantastic!
