We liked our stay. The hotel isn't really set up for families, so there weren't any little guests. Breakfast was really tasty, with lots of pastries and local snacks, though the only hot option was omelet. It was nice to eat in the garden. The rooms were decent, with a locker but no fridge, and they were cleaned and had their bedding changed every day. The bathroom had everything we needed. The hotel can arrange beach service through partners, but not entertainment like Mirabilandia or similar. Nearby parking is available for a fee.

A short walk, about a minute, gets you to the beach. The hotel isn't new, but it's clean, the staff are lovely, and breakfast is delicious. I'd recommend it and stay again.

We had a lovely view of the beach from our room. The staff were welcoming and friendly, kept the room clean, and did what they could to make us comfortable. I was there for a week for my Dragon Boat competition, and they called a taxi so I could arrive on time. They also shifted breakfast earlier for the few of us competing. There was enough variety in the food, and breakfast ran for a long time, which was helpful for people who get up late.

We only spent two nights at the Astor in summer 2024, but came away with a really good impression. The staff were friendly and helpful, even mailing me the charger I'd left behind. Breakfast was generous, well beyond what you'd usually get at a 3 star hotel. The rooms felt inviting, and being close to the beach was convenient. Highly recommend.

Having breakfast in the garden was lovely, and the buffet had a good selection of lactose-free and gluten-free products. If you let the Chef know, they can also prepare lactose-free or gluten-free lunch or dinner. The suite was cozy, with a great sea view, and the hotel is right by the beach. The deckchairs aren't free, you have to pay for them at the beach restaurant. There is free parking by the hotel; if it's full, free street parking in the white-lined spaces is usually available.
