The apartment was basic and the WiFi was poor, and the actual stay was nowhere near what the website led us to expect. We were told there were no bikes available, even though the listing says each room or flat has its own. There were rusty bikes in the courtyard, but the owner said they were broken and unusable. The workshop mentioned in the listing wasn't there either, and Booking.com suggested breakfast was included, but it wasn't. More than two weeks after our stay, the owner took nearly £50 from us over a claim that we had damaged a freezer door. We disputed it and got no reply. The owner also didn't deal with the problems we raised during our stay or the later money dispute. I question his integrity, and think there are many better places to stay in Ravenna.

We had planned to stay four nights, but paid extra to leave after just one, and didn't regret it. The reception was friendly, though the facilities were far from welcoming. The high kitchen table with ordinary chairs was something else, you really have to see it to believe it.

The welcome at reception was friendly, but the rest of the experience was pretty bad. The WiFi and bikes were poor, the kitchen had no proper utensils, there was no air conditioning, and the bed was uncomfortable. Avoid it if you can.

The apartment was exceptionally clean, and the owner gave us all the information we needed. Its location worked well for us, right in the city center but outside the restricted traffic zone, with parking about 40 meters away.
