Hotel Krone

Fantastic.

The beach was a highlight, with shallow Adriatic water, pretty shells, a playground, and games for grown-ups and kids. The hotel itself is lovely and very child-friendly, right by the sea. Ms. Giovanna was always around and happy to help. There's a small but nice playroom at the hotel, and Hotel Sorriso next door, also managed by them, has a bigger one. A nanny service is offered, though as someone who works with children, I think it needs improvement and one person isn't enough. The entertainment was good, and since we're not really into that, they picked up on it and left us alone.

The food was excellent, from the starters right through to dessert, and we met so many lovely people in the family-friendly atmosphere. The entertainers made things fun for the kids and the whole family. Mrs. Giovanna, the owner, clearly cares about her guests' well-being and is lovely inside and out. The staff were wonderful too, and Antonio and Giacomo have become like extra uncles to my son. We only just left, but already miss the place. We might even see some of those people again next year. If you're after a great family holiday, I'd recommend Hotel Krone. You won't regret it!

We had days and evenings full of fun thanks to Mike, Anastasia, and Claudia and the rest of the entertainment team. Giacomo looked after us with real kindness and professionalism, and was so sweet with the kids. The hotel's girls at reception were warm and friendly, while Mrs. Giovanna was elegant, thoughtful, and always ready to sort out a problem. The rooms and the hotel were spotless, and ours had a huge glass balcony that was perfect for children. The food was magnificent. See you next year, highly recommended!
