Suite D'Annunzio

The only thing that let this lovely place down for me was the very soft bed and pillows. Otherwise, the rooms were genuinely comfortable, the bathroom was top-notch, and the whole property was well heated. Breakfast was fantastic, with local cured meats and plenty of sweet and savory choices. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the main attractions were just a short walk away. Excellent value.

I had to cancel my reservation, and Booking.com couldn’t provide a refund, but the manager was very understanding. He offered to move my stay at no extra cost. That kind of consideration shouldn’t be taken for granted. It showed real professionalism and care for customers. I highly recommend the property for the integrity and kindness of its management.

Everything besides check-in was perfect, and the staff were genuinely friendly and charming. It’s a family-run place with a welcoming feel, comfortable beds, adequate facilities, and a very good breakfast. We arrived over the weekend and a very kind woman greeted us, but couldn’t explain the electronic keys or tell us which room was ours. It got confusing, so we had to call the manager, and that was difficult too since we don’t speak Italian. Making arrival simpler would make this a 10 for me. For now, it’s a nine. Thank you.

The stay itself was positive, which makes what happened afterward all the more disappointing. We were there for work at the end of May and checked before booking that they could issue the invoice we needed for expenses. They assured us it would be fine. At checkout, we didn’t get the invoice and were told it would arrive by WhatsApp within a few days. After several reminders, we were told instead that it would be available online. Four months later, we still have nothing. It left us feeling ripped off, and the complete lack of seriousness and professionalism ruined the experience.
