Vistamare Suite Hotel - Lido di Savio

The hotel is amazing and relaxing, but the staff are what made our stay. They were so kind and the service was exceptional. We were about to miss our train, and then our flight home, because no taxis were available to take us to the station. The manager went out of her way to arrange a team member to drive us there. That extra effort meant a lot, and I'm very thankful. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone.

Our room was very small, and there was no privacy on the toilet. The water was bad in our room, and our parents' room had no hot water. Neither room had shower gel. The dinner was disgusting and badly cooked, yet cost 300 €. There was nothing to do near the hotel. We came as a family of five for one day and paid 500 € on Booking for two rooms, plus 150 € for the extra person at 50 € each. Parking was awful, very small, uncovered, and cost 20 €. A baby bed cost another 40 €. If you want to use the hotel beach, two sunbeds cost 80 €, and the SPA costs extra too. We thought the day would cost 500 €, but at checkout we paid over 600 € more, including 300 € for dinner, 300 € for sunbeds, parking, the baby bed, and the extra person. Don't recommend.

Our room was lovely and very modern, with a big seaside terrace and a nice view. But the hotel didn't meet the standards it tries to sell. Service at breakfast and the Pool bar was very bad, and we had to look for waiters because they ignored us, even with the high prices. Breakfast runs until 10:30, yet they stopped refilling the buffet at 9:30 and didn't clear our empty plates. The shower gel in the room was empty the whole stay, and there was no privacy on the toilet because the door couldn't be closed.

We had a great stay with two kids and felt grate. It's a cozy, top-class hotel and bar, with very good service. You can choose between the sea and the swimming pool while having a nice selection of cocktails and wines. The food was tasty and presented really well.
