The views over the mountains, sea, and city of Recco are beautiful, and the host is incredible. We stayed as a whole family in this lovely house, which has everything you need. Getting there with luggage may be tough for some. The path Google Maps shows has 620 steps, so it’s a good idea to book one of Reccos few Taxis ahead of time or get a taxi from Genova. There’s another route starting by the nearby church, but it goes through a small forest. Can only recommend this villa!

Loved our stay! The B&B is a five minute drive uphill from Recco, and the care put into the details really shows. Magnificent sea view, quality materials inside, and, most of all, genuinely friendly people. They even make homemade cake for breakfast.

The sea view, swimming pool, and well-kept garden make this a wonderful place. There’s even a vegetable patch just for guests, with tomatoes and courgettes, plus a BBQ. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, and the price was fair. Antonietta handled check-in and spoke German. Thank you, Valter, special facility manager.

The apartment was beautiful and clean, the view is amazing, and there’s an outdoor pool overlooking it. Breakfast was really good, with homemade cakes, foccacia, and more. The house is up in the mountains, so you need a car or taxi to get there. A taxi costs 20 euros, and no bus goes up. Walking the stairs to and from downtown takes 10 minutes and is heavy activity. In our case, Valter kindly drove us to the train station.

Casa Balin has a lovely garden with a pool, stylish and super clean rooms, and wonderful hosts. Valter and his wife made a lovely breakfast and are the soul of the place. From the hill there’s a wonderful sea view, and you can walk down to Recco in 5-7 minutes to catch a boat to the surrounding gulfs from there or Camogli. Paradise, warmly recommended!
