B&B A due Passi dal Mare

We had a great stay, with really nice people and a very clean place. The beach is a big draw, with clear water and white sand, and you can sit outside to watch the beautiful sunset. Breakfast was so good too. I'll definitely be back next year!

The terrace is a lovely place for breakfast, with a breathtaking view across the Strait. Breakfast is generous, though it's all sweet, with no savory options. There's also a handy inner courtyard for hanging swimsuits and drying towels. The B&B is right on the seafront, recently renovated and furnished with taste and attention to detail. Rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is a good size.

This was our second stay, and I'd happily recommend it. It's so convenient to leave the B&B, cross the street, and be at the beach. We also enjoyed breakfast on the veranda with its lovely view. The room was excellent and clean. Monica and Francesco, the owner, are both very kind.

Four years after my last visit, I'm updating this review: the service is still the same, and this remains my favorite B&B for a holiday in Catona. We stayed five days before, and had a wonderful time after choosing it for its location and excellent reviews. The furnishings were new and carefully maintained, and the room had A/C, a minibar, and a TV. Housekeeping was thorough every day, including fresh towels. The service felt like that of an excellent 4-star hotel. We had our own drying rack. Breakfast came on a large sea-view terrace, with pastries, fruit, drinks, jams, biscuits, and coffee like you'd get at a bar. There's no private parking, but plenty nearby, and the streets are quiet. We'd gladly return.
