You'll need a car to get here, but it's worth the trip. The B&B is high on the hill above Pellaro and the Messina Strait, near Italy's southernmost tip, and the night view is wonderful. Lena and Rosario were incredibly helpful despite our language difficulties. They suggested places to visit, showed us how they dry wheat or grain for flour, and let us taste their wine. The pool is fabulous and a lovely place to unwind. The property is comfortable and clean, and Lena makes a lovely breakfast.

The view over the Strait is breathtaking, and the setting is stunning. The pool, generous breakfast, welcoming staff, and clean, comfortable rooms made it a great stay. There are also several pizzerias, pubs, bars, and supermarkets within a few kilometers.

We celebrated my 30th birthday here, and the whole family was so helpful, attentive, and kind. The poolside setting has a fantastic view. I'd recommend it for an event or simply a relaxing day.

We had the whole place to ourselves, including the lovely pool and roomy outdoor area with comfortable, well-equipped garden furniture. The hillside setting has a beautiful panoramic view over the Strait of Messina. It was a wonderful day!!! The owner even brought us coffee twice, with the kind of warmth you get from southerners.
