B&B Green

Mediocre.

The host was very helpful, and the place was clean, but this really wasn’t suitable for small children. Breakfast was meager, with only packaged food and squashed snacks, and there were no biscuits for the kids to put in their milk. We couldn’t find any spoons to stir coffee either. The kitchen was awkward, and the tables were so tiny and close together that my husband couldn’t sit down. Our room felt small for four people and was noisy from the street and other rooms, even at night. The air conditioning was positioned right over the bed and blew on us however we adjusted the louvers.

We paid €120 for 2 nights, even though the price list in the room showed a maximum of €50 per night in high season. I felt seriously ripped off. The host also messaged that checkout was by 10:30 AM, while the posted rules said 11:00 AM. The B&B is a three-bedroom apartment in a small building, with no elevator. At the entrance there was a strong urine smell. Dust was all over the shelves, windows, and under the bed, a real problem for my asthmatic wife. The sheets were stained, and the pillows smelled of old sweat, so we slept on towels. Whenever we used water, the bathroom faucets smelled moldy. The shower leaked after use, and the supplied hairdryer had exposed wires and a German plug. There were no adapters in the bathroom. Breakfast was four subpar MD tea snacks and an off-brand fruit juice. Saying it was awful would be a compliment. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE POSITIVE REVIEWS, THEY ARE NOT TRUE. A DISGUSTING AND DISGUSTING B&B.

I had a good stay and would consider coming back to Reggio. The staff were friendly, and the place was clean. My room was comfortable and had the essentials, with a private bathroom and all the amenities. The kitchen is shared with the other rooms, but only used for breakfast, which is not included in the room price. The password access needs rethinking because it doesn’t work very well.
