Getting around on foot was easy: the city center is about a 10-minute walk, the central station around 15 minutes, and the ferry terminal about 25. Our room at B&B Kalavria was comfortable and very clean, and it was simple to get in touch with the hotel. They sent all the information we needed. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it for a trip to Reggio Calabria. ☺️

We had a lovely time in Reggio, which is definitely worth visiting at Christmas. Our hosts were generous and made us feel so welcome, and having a patio was a nice extra. A fantastic place to stay, and we’d come back for sure.

Domenico and Erma were such gracious hosts. Breakfast was wonderful, and they can tailor it to what you like. The room was lovely, quiet, and clean, and the location made it easy to leave the car parked and walk everywhere. We’ll stay here again when we visit Reggio. ❤️

We booked a suite, with a separate sitting room and foldout couch alongside the regular hotel room. My friend actually preferred the couch and slept there. The room was great, and the terrace felt like a relaxing little oasis. The owners clearly know what they’re doing and put a lot of care into the place. Street parking was plentiful when we arrived Sunday, but the streets were packed Monday morning. By Monday night, parking was fairly available again.

The standard breakfast was just one croissant, which was a bit disappointing. They offered a traditional breakfast or a better one for an extra 5 euros per person.
