The room was comfortable and spotless, and you're close to everything in Reggio Calabria: the Archaeological Museum, the main street, and the seafront are just steps away. Mariangela, the owner, was the real highlight. She was so kind, paid attention to what guests needed, and was always ready with tips and suggestions to make the stay enjoyable. We rented a room for 11 days starting July 15, 2025, and two days later 800 euros disappeared from a backpack we'd hidden in the closet. I'm warning people because I believe we were robbed. Access to the room required opening three locks: the gate, the building's main entrance, and the room door. We didn't get the chance to call the police, but the B&B owner did. Police came at her request and negotiated on her behalf, telling us to leave the B&B that night and that we could report the theft the next morning. We agreed to go and received some of our room payment back, but couldn't recover the money from the room.

The location is right in the center, and there was secure parking for my motorcycle. The host was very welcoming and took time to explain how to see the city. The room itself was small and basic, with standard amenities. It was very noisy, and there was no terrace or breakfast on-site like the photos showed. You have to go to the café, where they give you a coffee and a croissant of your choice. Out of season, the room seemed a bit overpriced.

The B&B is in the historic center of RC, handy for getting around on foot to the main sights, cafés, restaurants, and shops. It also has private parking, which is useful since street parking in the area is paid. My room was a little small but had all the basics and comforts: towels, shower gel and soaps, a hairdryer, TV, air conditioning, and a mini bar. It was very clean and sanitized, and Mrs. Mariangela was kind and easy to talk to. Breakfast is included as a voucher for a nearby bar, though that bar has no seating. I'd recommend it 😉
