Check-in went smoothly, the room had everything working, and the staff were quick to help. Breakfast is free, perhaps a little basic, but certainly enough. Check-out was just as easy. A really great hotel, and I'd recommend it to friends and family.

The restaurant offers a fabulous range of food, and the hotel is reasonably priced, with a very friendly team. It's a quaint place, and the rooms are pleasant, comfortable and well suited to the stay. The beds have good support and are perfectly firm. Parking is in a secure garage off site that can fit a larger SUV. The manager and owner speaks English. We'll stay again next time we're in the area.

We were out on the street and needed help close to 11pm on a quiet Monday. The receptionist was very friendly and still managed to assist us. Thank you so much.

After stays in Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii and Salerno, Torrione Hotel has been the most welcoming and helpful place on our trip. We arrived tired after a 4.5 hour train ride, and the cheerful staff greeted us and offered us a drink. Such a kind gesture. We got to chat for a while over our beers with Tina, who's doing Canada proud all the way over here in Italy. A gentleman, whose name I unfortunately forgot to ask, was patient and happy to help us sort out a rental car. He also arranged a taxi and gave us advice. The room is just as clean, bright and cosy as the online photos show. No wondering if the pictures belong to somewhere else, and really, we couldn't have asked for more.

The staff were marvellous, and the hotel is in a convenient spot for Reggio Calabria's main attractions.
