The location made getting around easy: the Opera, museums and waterfront are all about a 10-minute walk away, as are the escalators, cinema and luxury shops. Town House Morgana was an amazing stay, better than any other hotel or BnB I’ve tried in Reggio Calabria. Giuseppe and the staff are lovely, and they speak good English, so getting your point across is easy even if your Italian isn’t strong. Breakfast was very nice, with Italian or other options and, of course, coffee. I even got complimentary pastries from Cordon Bleu, one of the best places to eat in town. The room felt about as big as my living room, and the bathroom was a dream. I haven’t had this kind of luxury even at 5-star Sofitels in Asia: marble tile, a double rain shower and a waterfall shower. It was so relaxing, especially before bed. There’s also a PS5 with games and DVDs for rainy days, automatic blinds, a fantastic bed and plenty of storage. Would I come back? Yes!

Giuseppe made a real difference to our stay in Reggio Calabria. He welcomed us himself even though we arrived at 1am, made the breakfast we asked for each morning, and was friendly and happy to talk with every guest. The hotel is also very central, close to the main roads and attractions, with everything within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and have plenty to make the stay comfortable, from a 200€ hairdryer and PS5 to a curved TV. The bathroom is huge, and the shower has three options. The beds were very comfortable and the cleaning was spot on. The one small problem was that our room bin didn’t work properly. I can’t think of anything else I was dissatisfied with. The hotel and its helpful owner made my visit even better. I’d recommend it, 10/10.

Back for my second stay and having a great time again. There’s plenty to enjoy, including a 4K TV, PlayStation 4 and Netflix. The standout for me is the top-of-the-line shower cabin. I’d suggest taking a look at it on THM's website!

Giuseppe, the owner, is one of a kind. Our kids still remember him fondly, and we felt looked after even after we’d checked out. It’s rare to meet a host like him. The property has a great location, spotless rooms and an excellent breakfast. It brings together comfort, technology and hospitality beautifully. Highly recommended!

Giuseppe was so kind and helpful to us and the children. The room is more like six stars than five, fully equipped with a PS5 and games for guests. The beds are really comfortable, everything is spotless, and the bathroom is super high-tech. I’d definitely come back. If you want to stay in Reggio and feel confident you’ll have a great stay, I recommend it.
