Such kind, attentive staff, always ready to help. The place feels calm and warm, a really pleasant spot to unwind.

The “Heaven” menu made this the best value I've had at a Michelin-starred restaurant anywhere. The courses were varied, tasty, and full of surprises, just what you'd hope for from a place like this. The wine pairing cost €60, which is pretty cheap, but I didn't enjoy it much. The sommelier barely spoke English, too. I'd recommend the restaurant, but I'd pick a bottle myself. A non-alcoholic pairing would have been great, by the way.

The vegetable menu at Ca’ Matilde was so good that I had to write about it, even though I don't usually post reviews. Early in the evening, we wandered through the beautiful vegetable garden with a glass of Lambrusco, then took a seat on the patio outside. The little bites in the memorable “Hello from the kitchen” were creative and delicious. After that, every course brought something different, beautifully presented and packed with layers of flavor. We couldn't settle on a favorite. It's easy to see how this became a Michelin-starred dining experience for all the senses. Thanks to Marcella for making sure the service was top notch throughout, and to Chef Andrea for a meal we'll always remember.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was a lovely start to the day. We stayed at Ca’Matilde for a few days over Christmas while visiting family in the region. Marcella welcomed us with her usual wonderful hospitality, and we really enjoyed the restaurant's interesting food made with regional ingredients and vegetables from their garden. We'll definitely return.
