Bed Rho Fiera

I've tried this place twice, and the rooms varied a lot. Some deserve a solid four stars, while others barely merit three, so it's hard to give a fair overall rating. The atmosphere is informal, almost like a family-run place. It's very close to the station, but surprisingly quiet, or nearly so. The bathrooms are a little dated but well maintained.

The managers were kind and helpful, but the room, bed, covers, sheets, mattress, everything smelled of cigarette smoke. It was unacceptable and irresponsible. I'm a smoker myself, and even so, the smell was so bad that I couldn't sleep all night.

The windows were old and let drafts in, and the mattress was really uncomfortable. Although the room was meant for three, it was actually a quadruple. One to avoid. And don't get me started on the transfer service. Sleep somewhere else.

We only stayed one night and were happy with it. Shops are close by, and it's easy to reach from the city centre by metro. The room was clean, the shower was nice, and the air conditioning worked well. I liked the drawing on the wall. A decent trash can would have been a useful addition.
