The train station nearby is handy if you’re passing through, but this was not a hotel I enjoyed. We paid €69 for one night in a room with a double bed and a single, just the two of us, despite what the owner later said in a reply. The place was noisy, and the walls seemed paper-thin. People talking around 7 am woke us after we’d been told to keep quiet from 11 pm to 8 am. I wouldn’t choose it with children or if you need peace. There’s no parking, though the shopping centre around the corner has parking. We arrived around 5 or 6 pm and rang the buzzer four times before calling. Only then did someone answer and let us in. The hallway smelled odd, so I asked to see the room before paying. The room was fairly clean, but dust and the floor could have been dealt with better. The bed was clean and comfortable; the pillows were too puffy and firm for me, though some might like them. It was July, very hot outside, and the room was 31 degrees when we arrived. After paying, we were told air conditioning cost another €10, which wasn’t disclosed on the booking website. About two and a half hours after check-in, an email arrived mentioning the fee. The unit barely changed the temperature even set to 16 degrees, after four hours. In more than ten days in Italy, this was the only hotel that charged us for air conditioning. I also asked for another towel because there was just one large towel per person; they said the booking specified one towel. They made the same point about the AC, but that charge wasn’t stated. We’d booked a double room, but the receptionist told us to use only one bed, even though the room had both a double and a single and the booking was for the room, not a particular bed. The receptionist spoke little English and little Italian, so talking things through was difficult. I saw the owner reply to other reviews in similar English and got the impression customers aren’t much of a concern. The transport ticket also wasn’t valid for the stop by the hotel, only the one before it, which cost us extra. There’s no mosquito netting, and there were lots of mosquitoes. I wouldn’t call the area especially reassuring at night. This was simply not my favorite hotel.

Everything nearby was easy to reach on foot, including supermarkets, a pharmacy, restaurants, and the train station. I stayed for 11 days and found the place clean, comfortable, and well arranged. My room was nice and had its own bathroom. There was also a shared sitting room and a small kitchen on the floor, which was handy for a longer stay. I’d definitely come back.

The public transport ticket didn’t cover the stop by the accommodation, only the previous one, so getting there meant extra cost and hassle. At night the area didn’t feel safe, and traffic noise made sleeping difficult. The windows had no mosquito screens, which was rough in summer with so many mosquitoes around. Inside, the hallways smelled bad. The bathroom was dirty, with yellow marks in the toilet, rusty shower pipes, and a showerhead coated in limescale. The bedding also looked filthy, as though it hadn’t been changed properly between guests. Using the air conditioner came with an extra €10 fee that hadn’t been mentioned when booking. These problems made the stay really unpleasant, and the accommodation fell well short of what we expected. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Rho station is only about 50 metres away and takes you straight to Milan Central. There are lots of inexpensive restaurants close by, too. Our room was clean and roomy, the atmosphere was pleasant, and check-in was easy. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We stayed three days and four nights. Highly recommend 🙌
