A Casa di Picci

We especially loved how peaceful and welcoming the place felt, with the sea and Riaci beach nearby. Our host was warm and attentive, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with that proper Italian feel. We had a lovely stay in this cozy house and would happily come back.

Breakfast with local products was a real treat, and everything was very clean. The location puts you near Tropea and some of the best beaches, though the nearest properly sandy beach is at Zambrone, which isn't especially close. Giuseppe's assistant and the legendary Peppe made the stay, especially Peppe, who's such a pleasant person. Giuseppe himself was kind, friendly, and always ready to help or answer questions. The terrace still gives you a sea view, and the sea breeze kept the temperature comfortable even in the middle of the day. A few things to know: the wardrobe is small, the minibar doesn't get very cold, and although the sea is 500 meters away, the steep walk makes getting there on foot impractical.

We were made to feel at home, and we're already thinking about coming back. Giuseppe and Francesca made our six days wonderful, always friendly and helpful, with good suggestions for places to visit and eat. The room was lovely and kept clean, and breakfast was plentiful and excellent. It was also a great base for Costa degli Dei beaches, just a few minutes by car from Tropea.

We felt more like friends than guests thanks to how kind and helpful the manager was. The rooms were clean and had every comfort, and breakfast had a very good range of sweet and savory choices. Tropea is only a short way off, and the B&B is handy for reaching all the prettiest beaches along the Coast of the Gods. We'd love to come back soon.
