For around 50 euros a night at the beginning of the season, this was more than a fair deal. The rooms are basic, but the owner, Alessio, is wonderfully kind and generous. He even drove us back from the gorgeous Capo di Vaticano beach for a tiny fee, arriving so fast after my call that he seemed to beam himself there like Star Trek. Breakfast is included and quite complete: pancakes, yogurt, cold cuts, cheese, boxed juices, and coffee that Alessio makes barista-style. The place is along the costa del sole, with a five-minute walk down to a beautiful beach where you can watch the sunset. I’d happily come back volontariamente.

Our four days at Casa Alessio were a great choice. Alessio was so kind and helpful, with recommendations for places to visit and boat trips. The room was always clean and had everything we needed. We flew in and couldn't bring an umbrella, so he lent us one for every day. Breakfast was perfect, especially Alessio's delicious homemade cakes, and the terrace view made it even better. We only spent one night, but had a lovely time. Alessio, the owner, was very kind and attentive to everything. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and practical, and breakfast had lots of choices on a beautiful panoramic terrace. We'll definitely be back soon. Maria and Francesca
