The hosts were thoughtful with both trip tips and food for breakfast. The apartment was clean and modern, and about a 10-minute drive from Matera center and the Sassi. There’s a big dog on the property, but it’s very well trained.

Nathalia even mailed a book we’d forgotten back to our home. Great service. The apartment was spotless, with two large bedrooms, a great bathroom and kitchen, and a beautiful view over the area. Nathalia brought lovely cakes for breakfast, and the large pool had plenty of beds. The road into Matera is interesting but manageable by car, and the city is only a five-minute drive away.

Eden sassi is a quiet, pleasant place to stay in a city that feels mystical. The host was very kind, and communication was quick and precise. It’s a little too far to walk from the heart of the city.
