I wanted somewhere quieter than tropea, and I’m glad I booked here. The host was welcoming and really kind. My room for two had two beds, a big shower, a bathroom, air conditioning, a balcony, and a small fridge. The wifi worked really well, and breakfast had everything I needed. It’s a 10-minute walk from the beach, with restaurants, a bar, and grocery stores nearby. A hidden gem for the price. I definitely recommend it.

They charged 160 euros a night for the room, as though it were a suite, plus another 10 euros for air conditioning. All this while working illegally. They clearly need to make money from people taking a short break or weekend away. The husband and wife were extremely rude. We found used toilet paper and stained sheets in the room, and neither sheets nor towels were changed for three days. I’ll leave it at that.

The location and cleanliness were both excellent, but the property really needs renovating, especially the furnishings and bathrooms. The owner seemed a bit tired and wasn’t very welcoming. He had some questionable rules, like turning off the air conditioning at midnight, which is hard to manage in the summer heat in Calabria. I hope he can find the peace he deserves and be more hospitable to future guests.

The house we stayed in belonged to Mr. Domenico, who owns the so-called hotel. The experience was awful, much like his character. His wife, who is a lovely person, is the reason people tolerate him.

Mr. Domenico made us feel well looked after. He's kind, attentive, and ready to help with what guests need. We had a relaxing, pleasant stay and would gladly come back.
