Settimo, the Maitre d, keeps things running very smoothly and still finds time to chat with all the guests. The food is great, served in a stunning beachfront setting, and the pool area is lovely. A friendly hotel that’s run efficiently, with reception staff who were really helpful.

It was an easy, relaxing stay thanks to the kind and helpful staff. The hotel is peaceful, with lots of greenery and the sea right there, and the food was great.

The blue water and sea view were what drew us in, but the hotel looked outdated and no longer like the pictures. Our room hadn’t been cleaned properly. We paid 80 euro extra for our 4-year-old boy, apparently considered an adult, though normally children are adults until 12 and stay free if they don’t need an extra bed. We didn’t get extra towels or shampoo for him. Breakfast was boring, and you couldn’t even make coffee. We were very disappointed. Definitely not a 4 star hotel, more like a Mexican hotel.

What made the holiday especially enjoyable was the entertainment from animators with Eurecastyle Animazione. They ran water gym and games in the day, then group dances, karaoke, and more in the evening. They were genuinely nice, and we’ll remember them and this holiday for a long time. The pool setup was excellent, with a main pool and a smaller one for toddlers. There was a bar nearby serving drinks, snacks, and ice cream. The beach is secluded and well cared for, but bring water shoes, since the seabed has both sand and rocks, as well as cliffs. Our room was clean and regularly looked after by the cleaning ladies. The restaurant staff, receptionists, and cleaners were kind. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and lunch and dinner were good too. We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Ipomea Club.

After an incredibly busy 2 years, all five of us, 3 adults and 2 kids, wanted time to swim, get some sunshine, relax by the pool, and enjoy good food and service. Hotel Ipomea Club delivered on what we hoped for. The staff made us feel welcome and cared for throughout, with special thanks to Hotel Director Annalisa and Maitre Giancarlo and his team for professional service and lots of laughs. The grounds were in very good condition, clean, and clearly looked after. The pool could perhaps use a bit of updating to make it just right, but we had a great experience as a family. Thank you!
