Hotel Marina del Capo

The hosts made our stay feel personal, especially when they arranged a private dinner for us on the terrace as the sun was setting. With candles, homemade wine, and food worth taking time over, it was an evening we won't forget. Hotel Marina del Capo sits above the sea, with sunset views and air scented by pine and salt. We came for a quiet romantic break and found a peaceful place with fresh flowers, beach walks, and space to reconnect. We left happy and well fed, and hope to return. A lovely fit for couples wanting to slow down and enjoy life together :))

We booked right after spotting the location on Google Maps, and it looked even better once we got there. Waking up to the sea blending into the blue sky, with pine-scented air, was a dream. We stayed a week and went along the coast by day, but always looked forward to coming back for dinner. The family serves wonderful food made with vegetables from their garden, their own olive oil, and homemade wine. No odd preservatives, just really fresh ingredients. That pasta is still on my mind. Everyone made us feel like old friends. I didn't want to leave, and we're already thinking about coming back. If you like a relaxed atmosphere, great views, and memorable food, book it.

The rooms were simple, clean, recently renovated, and had excellent showers. From Hotel Marina del Capo, we enjoyed wonderful sea views and could get around on foot, with everything close by on Capo Vaticano. The staff welcomed us warmly and helped whenever we needed it, making us feel like family. We also loved the delicious Calabrian food. Hotel Marina del Capo went beyond what I expected, and I can't imagine a better holiday spot :))

The evenings were a highlight, with long dinners featuring garden vegetables, house olive oil, and some of the freshest seafood I've tasted. During the day, my travelers enjoyed the beach down the hill and places nearby like Capo Vaticano's lookout. Not one request went unanswered. I brought a tour group here last week, and after ten years in the business, it was one of the smoothest stays I've managed. Roberto and Giancarlo seemed to anticipate what we needed, helping arrange boat trips and day runs to Tropea and Pizzo, and pointing us to local spots we wouldn't have found ourselves. My group loved the stay from the start. I can't recommend the place enough, and I'll keep bringing groups back. If you're organizing a tour in Calabria, look no further!!
