The pool was broken when we arrived, but they replaced it promptly. Massimo, the very attentive owner, was helpful and treated us every day to different local delicacies. Our air-conditioned apartment shared a garden with breathtaking views. We had a very positive stay, and will definitely be back. Thanks for everything, Massimo. 🤗

BEWARE OF SCAM!! When we got there, the apartment hadn't been cleaned. The woman who arrived with us after check-in had started said she could finish in an hour, but the place was run-down and dirty and needed a proper clean that would take much longer. We tried to wait in the garden, but the pool couldn't be used because one side had collapsed, and mosquitoes were everywhere. We called the owner about the delay and asked if there was another way to deal with this unpleasant situation. Mr. Massimo threatened us. When I tried to calm things down, he told me, “Shut up, woman, I'm talking to your husband.” We were frightened and left, luckily finding another place to stay. As a Calabrian, I'm deeply ashamed of these people. This isn't what Calabria is about. Mr. Massimo is just a small man. We also contacted Booking to explain what happened. The woman listened patiently, but they offered no protection with the reservation because Mr. Massimo said he hadn't threatened us, and claimed he could accommodate us. Come on!

We got a great price for the area and will definitely return. The new apartment was very nice and had every comfort. We stayed three nights, and Mr. Massimo was attentive, kind, and ready to help with any request.

A good place to get away from the chaos and enjoy some quiet. The property is in good shape and thoughtfully maintained, close to lots of tourist beaches and only 28 minutes from Tropea.
