The pizza was crisp and everyone was really nice. A great place.

We were starving when we arrived, having all skipped lunch, and knew places might be closed around 3:30. We spotted this one on the way to the beach, saw it was open, and the name caught our attention too. The pizza was decent, though pretty average by Italian standards. I had better in Calabria, but this wasn't bad. The pizza maker, who I assume was the owner, and the waiter were both friendly. Since it was so late for lunch, we had the huge restaurant to ourselves. With nobody around, it had a bit of a "The Shining" feel. They had the TV on, which seemed typical for an inexpensive Italian restaurant or pizzeria, and it was fine for the casual setting. There wasn't much of a view, and it's a little farther from the rest of town. Still, I wouldn't mind going back if someone suggested it.

I stopped in just for an ice cream, a tarttufo or something like that, not sure I've spelled it right. It was delicious. I'd go for the pistachio one.
