The grounds are huge, so expect plenty of walking. There’s a shuttle train, but it isn’t always available. I was stung by a jellyfish in the sea, so take care if you’re allergic or more vulnerable to stings. On the brighter side, the all-inclusive plan covers what you need, including drinks, and the food is excellent, varied, and consistently good. The view from the main pool at sunset is one of the best I’ve seen.

The theatre was fun even though I don’t know Italian, since the performers used gestures. The beach is nice and the views are very good, but communication was frustrating: when the animation team realized I didn’t speak Italian, they ignored me. This hotel seems geared more toward Italians than other tourists, and the staff need to know English. I was really disappointed by the food. It didn’t feel like real Italian cooking to me. For that, you have to eat outside the hotel.

I liked the sea view, the food, the outdoor lounge, the atmosphere, and the kind people. The internet only works near reception, though. And whenever you sit outside, sooner or later one or more flies will show up and bother you.

The pool bartenders were full of energy and very friendly, and one of them made superb cocktails. The waiters were excellent too, polite and professional, keeping things clean and looking after guests, especially the young waiters who served with a smile. Housekeeping was good, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner were good, though I would have liked more Italian specialty desserts. The rooms are basic, with electrical outlets awkwardly placed so devices had to go on a chair or the floor. Some windows didn’t close securely and were easy to reach from the walkways. Reception staff were helpful, and speaking Italian made things easier. Some guests who spoke English found communication difficult, so staff should be more fluent in English. Excursions and transport were well organized. It was a great stay, highly recommended.
