The restaurant was the highlight for us. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all amazing, with lots of variety and flavorful, high-quality ingredients. The kitchen team was great, and the restaurant staff were superb, especially Stefano (the maître) and Asia. I think this is the only hotel in the area with a restaurant on an upper floor, which made the experience even better. The beach is right in front, and we had no complaints. One windy day we forgot our towels, but staff folded them neatly inside the umbrella. There were lots of free activities, though we didn't do much. The hot tubs cost extra, I believe €6 for 20 or 40 minutes. It worked really well for our toddler. There's a kids' room and food available 24/7 that you prepare yourself, which I prefer to stale sandwiches. It included soups, pasta, cheese, and I think ragu`. We had a top-floor room with a hot tub and steam room. There was plenty of storage for our things, though not for luggage. We tucked our empty bags behind the door, where they didn't get in the way. I'm sure staff would have stored them somewhere if we'd asked. The room and bathroom were perfectly fine. Housekeeping were friendly and attentive, working around our schedule. The terrace had a high wall and railing, which didn't bother us as adults, though someone shorter in the hot tub might not see the sea. For our toddler, it made the space feel safe for getting some fresh air. The steam room heated up to the right temperature and humidity quickly. The hot tub worked well, though you could tell previous guests had mistreated it. A better manual would help. We reported a problem with some jets, and it turned out to be a configuration issue. Staff dealt with it quickly. The main downside was the air conditioning. On the top floor, which gets sun and heat all day, it couldn't bring the room below a certain temperature during daytime. Staff were very helpful and let us run it at full power all day. That helped, and my wife and son were mostly comfortable, but after I came back from a hot walk, I still started sweating. There was no breeze, and it remained warm. Once you'd been sitting still and cooled down, the temperature was good, but it didn't give you that quick blast of cool air when you came in from the summer heat. At night it was fine, and we used auto at our preferred setting, otherwise it got too cold. It felt like a five-star stay in a three-star hotel, and I'll definitely return. The beachfront setting was perfect, and I enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Free bicycles and a beach tower were nice extras, and the lobby felt very welcoming. My stay at Hotel Commodoro was very satisfying. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable vacation in this beautiful spot right on the beach. Clubs, fine dining, and shopping were all close by in little Miami, either within walking distance or a short cab ride. Elshan was one of the best bartenders I've ever been served by, always quick with the drinks and attentive to the details and service. Reception was wonderful too, especially Annalisa. Highly recommended, and thank you for the great trip!

They canceled my booking the day before I was due to arrive, even though I'd reserved the room three weeks earlier and their website still showed it as available. You could be left with nowhere to go if they cancel at the last minute, so don't book with them. Their customer service couldn't communicate with me in English and didn't resolve the issue. Don't trust this hotel. Stay away.
