The place was clean, but the furniture is very dated and the rooms are small. The shower soap dispenser gives the room a hostel feel. For a two or three star place, it would have been fine. Also, you pay for the water in the room, whereas every Airbnb and hotel gives it as a welcome.

The hotel and its surroundings were nice, and everything was clean. Breakfast was good too. The staff uniforms were the downside, they smelled strongly of old sweat and mildew, which really wasn't pleasant. 🤔

The breakfast had plenty of choices, especially sweet Italian pastries, but the service was so slow that I stuck to coffee, bread, and cheese. We picked Cristallo for a two-day work trip to Riccione because our usual hotel was full and this one was close to Pala Riccione. The receptionist was attentive and friendly, and we felt welcome. I was in suite 101, which was tiny, with a hard single bed and just one pillow. The air conditioning didn't work, so the room felt like an oven. Since it was on the first floor, there was no balcony, unlike my colleagues' rooms on floors two and three. Spotlights reflected off the facade and shone through the bedroom window, leaving me to choose between opening it and dealing with the light and noise, or keeping the blackout curtains closed and staying hot. I chose the second option since it was only for two days.

The food was very good, and the rooms were clean. It's a lovely, quiet hotel in a great spot in Riccione. Perfect!
