After going to riccione for nearly thirty years without ever staying in a hotel, I finally tried the ascot this year and was really pleased with the choice. They gave me a warm welcome and a lovely room with a sea-view balcony, a nice bathroom, and a TV. The bar downstairs is great, with well-made drinks at fair prices and staff who know their stuff. The restaurant is spacious, and its antipasti selection changes twice a day, with plenty for everyone. Then comes a three-course meal, some of the best I’ve had in Italy, which says a lot. The waiters were excellent, helpful, and polite to everyone. Outside, there’s a lovely pool with water jets for massaging your back, plus a jacuzzi around the corner. There are about a dozen sunbeds and an outdoor seating area where you can eat or relax with friends. Now that I’m home, I can’t wait to return next year. I’d highly recommend this place.

Right on the beach and super clean. The staff were very nice, and breakfast had a huge, generous selection.

A basic hotel in a great beachfront spot. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and it’s close to both the casino and the city center.

This was my niece’s hotel. My mistake.
