Reply to the owner: why do you think I didn’t explain the problems? I spelled them out in my review: “Small, bathroom had lots of problems.” There was mould, and the shower faucet leaked. I’ll leave it to other guests to judge from what happened to us. We booked through your website, where the hotel was advertised as being by the sea at Viale Gabriele D'Annunzio, 165, 47838 Riccione RN, Italy. When we got there, we found Hotel Nizza Riccione, not Hotel Etna Riccione. The receptionist at Hotel Nizza said our reservation was actually for Hotel Etna Riccione, two blocks from the sea. They also told us this mix-up happens regularly, with guests arriving expecting a seaside hotel and only then finding out it isn’t by the sea. They said this misleading practice was well known. We went to the reception at Hotel Etna Riccione to explain, and were told bluntly that we could take the room or leave. So please don’t say we never raised the issue. We did explain it, but your receptionist just shrugged and told us we could go somewhere else. Calling me “not clever” only adds to the impression that you’re an unprofessional owner who insults unhappy guests instead of dealing with legitimate complaints. Given all this, I’ve updated my review.

We spent a week here and had a really good time. It was a lovely surprise, with new management, very clean rooms, and friendly, kind, helpful staff. We’ll definitely come back. The all-inclusive package covered drinks with meals, including white and red wine, beer, and cans, plus a beach umbrella and two loungers. Lunch and dinner each had three courses, with a choice of first and second courses, dessert, and all sorts of cooked, dressed, and raw vegetables. Breakfast was abundant and had plenty of variety: cakes, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, brioches, fruit, jam, Nutella, and more. It was really comprehensive.

We had a really pleasant stay in this welcoming, well-kept hotel. Every dish was delicious, thoughtfully made, and full of authentic flavor, so special thanks and compliments to the chef. The service was impeccable too. The waiters were always smiling, helpful, and attentive to every need. You can tell they put real passion into their work. Recommended!
