Residence Dory Suite

The food was delicious, with enough variety each day that we never went hungry. And we could each choose our own ride, which made the week especially nice: my husband, a serious cyclist, joined the Cappuccino or Lemoncino groups for longer, harder routes and more serious climbs, while I rode an electric bike with the Dulce Vida group. Those rides included stops to learn about the area, covered around 50 km a day, and always made time for coffee. We went through the countryside around Riccione, climbing more than I expected, but the views made the workout worthwhile. Fields, vineyards, and flowers everywhere. Paulo was a fabulous guide. We'd come back in a heartbeat for another week of “bike camp.” Hotel Dory runs up to five guided rides a day at different skill, speed, and difficulty levels. The hotel and staff were top notch, kind and welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to help. We stayed at the Dory Residences in a lovely room with a queen bed, small sofa, sink, fridge, and balcony. The beach is a few blocks away, and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby to explore.

The customer service and food were both great, and the rooms were comfortable, though the AC could have been better. Hotel Dory is a good choice for cyclists, with different rides offered daily and wonderful guides.

A cyclist's heaven, with super professional guides who bring an inspiring attitude. The cycling setup is top quality, even daily laundry for cycling clothes, and there's a good selection of bikes to rent. Food was extremely good, and they took care of my celiac diet. Rooms are clean and tidy, the location is good, and both the general staff and the guiding and bike service teams are friendly and professional.

The bike routes were really good, and the training was excellent. Staff and hotel services were great too. We had a very good vacation at the Dori Hotel, and I highly recommend choosing half board.
