Residence Hamilton

The apartments are comfortable, well furnished, and very clean, with midweek cleaning included. The garages are small but fully covered. A dishwasher would make them even better. The place is in a beautiful part of Riccione, just steps from Via Dante and the sea.

We stayed in apartment No. 1 on the ground floor at Hamilton residence for three nights, April 29 to May 2, 2018. The day after we arrived, my partner and I left for the gym for about an hour and a half. When we came back, her Mercedes was gone. Since it had been parked in a tow-away zone, we first assumed it had been towed. Inside, the apartment was locked and the windows were shut. The Mercedes keys were missing, along with a Vuitton bag containing a Vuitton wallet, €800, and a Rolex I had foolishly left there. I then checked the safe, which was still locked, because I had left €4,000 in it the previous day. The money had disappeared too, even though the safe remained locked with my code. I attached two photos of the reports filed with the Carabinieri to show what happened. The losses were extensive, though the missing items weren't insured, apart from the car. What upset us most was the owner's arrogant, rude response. He couldn't explain what had happened and accused us of making the whole thing up. In 2018, the residence still had no cameras; after the incident, the owner said he would install them. Be very careful with this residence. SHAME.

The owners were welcoming and ready to help with anything we asked. My family and I rented bikes, and Viale Ceccarini was just a quick ride away. The apartment had everything we needed, and the area was quiet while still being close to the center. We had a great stay, I'd recommend it.

We were really disappointed with the ground-floor apartment we rented, which had a garden. My dog couldn't stay outside because he barked, and around 20 dogs passed by each day, so it wasn't just mine. There was also a power cut, the kitchen was tiny, and an unbearable smell came from beneath the stairs nearby. It was a costly letdown. Inspect an apartment before renting it, and don't rely on the photos.
